This is a poem I wrote in about five minutes one night in my living room.
Frogs
To be a frog is not so bad,
You get to sit on lillypads,
To be a frog is not so bad,
You get to be a commercial fad,
To be a frog is not so bad,
To be a cow now that is bad,
To be a frog is not so bad,
You could be a kid named Thad,
To be a frog is not so bad,
This poem is over,and for that I bet your glad.

LOVE
In the depths of pain and fear,
When one's mind holds them captive,
It is comforting to know that you are near,
For you are the reason I live,
When I am low and full of sorrow,
And don't know which way to turn,
It is you that say look forward to tomorrow,
And I feel the love that in your heart burns.
You have over the years been there for me,
Even though at times I have caused you pain,
Past the front I put up you are able to see,
That I am as loving as a gentle summer rain,
It is because of this, that my spirit is set free,
I am after years of guilt and pain,
able to say my spirit is free as a dove,
The pieces of my soul are like the patches of a quilt,
And I realize there is nothing greater than LOVE.
